Secretary’s Report: The report was read and two corrections were made: Harold G. left out in “new business” and Tim H. opened the meeting with the traditions, not the serenity prayer.
Treasurer’s Report: A written report was submitted. YTD total income was $42,933. YTD total expenses were $43, 318. Cash balances at the end of November, 2011 $43,602, up $1,077 from balance at 12/31/10. See written report for further details.
Vice-Chairperson’s Report: A new literature cabinet has been installed. John is in the process of updating rules for Red House meetings and is also investigating the acquisition of a new computer, possibly for the first of the year.
Chairperson’s Report: Jim brought to the Council the idea of possibly moving the location of Intergroup Council Meeting due to space and parking constraints. John F. is investigating possible sites and reps asked to go back to home groups for location ideas.
Desk Committee/Literature: Marilyn reported that the desk has open slots: Mondays 2p-4p; Fridays 12noon-2p and Saturdays (shared shift, every other week) 2p-4p and 6p-8p. The volunteer office was painted and some outside painting was completed. New Where and Whens were printed and going fast.
Activities: New Year’s Eve Dinner Dance -at St. Martin’s, $15 in advance, $20 at the door. The “Blackouts” will again provide catering- steamship round, pulled pork, salad varieties, etc. $400 already paid for catering in full. Approximate total cost $2,500. Champ House to help set up and clean up. Convention- need 400 registrants to break even on cost, currently have approximately 200. Curtis Bay Noon group has held breakfasts in Severna Park and has given proceeds to AAIG for convention costs. Sober Idol- talent show to be held at Md Hall of Performing Arts March 10, 2012. Picnic- June 30, 2012 at AA County Fairgrounds, Dan looking into fireworks permit, tickets will be $10. Alcathons- are covered for Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day.
Outreach: Several people have expressed interest; will be discussed further at January meeting.
PI/CPC: Play- “Recovery: The Final Frontier” has been written, casted and rehearsals have begun. Performance dates are Friday February 24 and Saturday February 25 at 7pm at the Pascal Center for the Performing Arts at AACC. Non-speaking parts are still available for interested cast members. Homeless Resource Day- will be held on Saturday March 31, 2012 at Glen Burnie High School. AAIG will be running an Alcathon during the event, as well as providing literature. Persons who are homeless or close to homelessness are encouraged to attend. Public Service Announcements- Maura has contacted several television, radio, internet, cinema and print media outlets to explore the possibility of airing public service announcements for AA. These PSAs were created by AA World Services and are conference approved. A summary of her findings along with a budget proposal will be presented at the January 2010 Council meeting. Alcathon- The Annapolis Noon Group wishes to extend warmest thanks to all those groups and individuals who supported their efforts to host the Thanksgiving Alcathon. They were able to host over 250 people and they have agreed to host the Alcathon on Thanksgiving in 2012.
Treatment/Corrections: Volunteer needed for Jennifer Road, two years since incarceration, and one year since criminal offense required.
Bulletin: no report.
Website: The newly printed Where and Whens went quickly. Jan 2012 ready for printing that includes the south county groups that were displaced. There was discussion about whether to include budget on website and it was agreed to post on the website as well as include insert in bulletins.
Old Business: As discussed during Vice Chair’s report, further discussion regarding Red House regulations for meetings will take place during January Executive Committee meeting. John F. will be checking with funeral home regarding parking availability for meetings.
New Business: Cate, new District 22 DCM reported that new Traditions Meetings are being planned, more information to follow. Executive Committee Elections were held, all positions running unopposed on one slate, all candidates elected unanimously as follows:

There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 8:30pm with the Serenity Prayer.
